Corn Field

This painting was a view from a friend's backyard view.  The fall colors reflected in the distant horizon seem to bring warmth to the golden corn field. It reminded me of Millet’s Gleaners.  Could you imagine that there were three ladies collecting the bits of grain left in the fields following the harvest?
