Today, Peggys Cove is primarily a tourist attraction.  Its inhabitants still fish for lobster.  The community remains a rustic undeveloped appearance.  Despite the population is under 50, it attracts a flock of photographers and artists every year to enjoy the tranquility and picturesque scene on the rugged Atlantic coast.
