ZhouZhuang – Venice of the East - China 5 X 7 Color Pencil

After seeing the most glamorous fashion and buildings in Shanghai , it was quite a contrast to visit this watery town, ZhouZhuang.  The time seemed to be set back 400 years ago.  From the strong local colored tradition and custom, people are still working in the small houses connected with narrow alleys and canals winding through the town.  While I stood on the stone bridge, I felt like doing time traveling between the past and the present.
